Down The TBR Hole #12

Down the TBR Hole was originally created by Lost in a Story! The point of it is to Narrow down your GoodReads TBR shelf.

How it works:
➽ Go to your Goodreads to-read shelf.
➽ Order on ascending date added.
➽ Take the first 5 (or 10 if you’re feeling adventurous) books
➽ Read the synopses of the books
➽ Decide: keep it or should it go?

The Six Books:

>> We Have Always Lived in the Castle- Shirley Jackson

I tried to read this in 2016 and I read probably 30% before I DNF’ it. I wasn’t feeling the characters, I have a heard time reading classics. Sadly this book wasn’t for me. Delete

>> Mr. Mercedes – Stephen King

I have so many King books to read and hopefully I will get to some this year, as I’ve acquired some on audiobook including this one. Keep

>> The Witches: Salem 1692- Stacy Schiff

I bought this book when it was first released because i thought it would be an interesting read, but I’ve seen some review say its extremely boring and I just don’t have time for that. Delete

>> Horimiya Vol 8 – Hero

This is my favorite manga series and I’m so sad I’ve fallen behind and I might need to do a re-read of the entire series soon! Keep

>> Truly Madly Guilty – Liane Moriaty

I really enjoyed Big Little Lies and Heather  talks highly of her other book’s, I do plan on keeping this one on my TBR for when the mood strikes me to pick it up. Keep

Dark Matter – Blake Crouch

This book has had so much hype and I have no idea why I haven’t read it yet. It sounds so good! Keep

Is there any book’s on this list that I should reconsider? If you’ve read any of these book’s what did you think of them?
