Hello bookworms!! It’s the last day of December, I cant believe its the end of the year already! It has been an amazing blogging year and I Have all of you to thank for that! The Afterlife of Holly Chase by Cynthia Hand
When I heard there was a modern retelling of A Christmas Carol I was totally interested!! This was the perfect book to read for the Holiday season.
The Lost Sisters by Holly Black
This novella was such a wonderful addition the the Cruel Prince story and I loved seeing into the mind of Taryn, I still don’t like her but at least we got to see why she did some of the things she did. The writing is absolutely beautiful of course. Holly Black remains one of my favorite authors. I really loved this addition to the story and I’m so excited for The Wicked King !!
Merry Inkmas by Tailia Hibbert
I read this book for Tistheseasonathon, and it was the perfect fast paced romance. I loved the Holiday setting, and the characters I really felt connected to. This is a great book to read during the holiday season.
The Wishing Spell by Chris Colfer
This book has been on my TBR for years and I am so happy that I finally picked it up. Its a middle grade fantasy, about two siblings who get transported into the land of fairy tales. I loved seeing all the characters and the setting. I’m planning on continuing on with the series in the new year! Full review to come.
The Lion The Witch and The Wardrobe by C.S Lewis
This book was a reread for me, and I loved it, maybe not as much as i did when i first read it at the age of 12. Some parts felt rushed, but the writing in beautiful and gives off so many winter vibes.
Kingdom of Ash by Sarah J Maas
Review to come soon! This series is such a wild ride and I love it with my whole heart and soul. So it shouldn’t come as a surprise that i loved the final book so much ! i will say it does have problematic issues but since i am such trash for this series i can over look some of the problems. I have already written the review just tweaking it a bit so it should be up very soon !

I won’t bore you all with all the Christmas movies I watched which there was a lot haha but here are some of the other movies I watched this month.
Mamma Mia 2: Here we go Again
I spent 90% of this movie with a huge smile on my face and 10% trying not to ugly cry. I loved it!
Christopher Robin
This movie was amazing! Winnie the Pooh was one of my all time favorite stories growing up. This movie really tugs on your heart strings.
Dumplin
Really surprised at how much I enjoyed this movie, I had no interest in reading the book or watching the movie. Noah was home from school due to a snow storm , he said his friends were all watching this movie.

Book Haul!!!
My fiancé got me The Tea Dragons Society, Girls of Paper and Fire, and The Throne of Glass Collectors edition for Christmas!
On Boxing Day I had some Christmas money and went to Chapters. I purchased Queen of Air and Darkness (which was 40% off !!) ,Dance of Thieves and Empress of all Seasons. I am so excited to get to all these books in 2019!
I hope everyone has a safe night and have fun ! I will be spending New Years Eve with my kids and watching a movie. I will see you all in the New Year !!
