Hello Bookworms! I am so excited to announce that I will be doing Blogmas! Happy Day 1! 🎅🏼
I feel like I’m more excited for Christmas this year than ever before! Christmas Eve is Emmy’s first birthday and getting to see her experience the holidays is really exciting. Spending time with Noah watching all the holidays movies and decorating the tree while listening to Christmas music is my favorite!
I have a few holiday books picked out, that I’ve been looking forward to since the beginning of November and some since last year. Most of the books I have are audio books because my reading since going back to work has been rough.
December TBR
– Starry Night by Debbie Macomber
– Mr Dickens and his Carol by Samantha Silva
-Merry and Bright by Debbie Macomber
– The Twelve Days of Dash and Lily by Rachel Cohn and David Levithan
-The Afterlife of Holly Chase by Cynthia Hand
As you can see, I have a decent amount of options here! I’m not sure if I can read all of them but I’m sure going to try.
Last year was when I REALLY got sucked into Hallmark movies, I was 9 months pregnant so I really enjoyed relaxing and watching movies. This year, I’m completely in love with all the cheesy Christmas movies. I’m one of the few people who didn’t watch A CHRISTMAS PRINCE last year but I watched it at the end of November, and I absolutely loved it. I might even watch it again in December.
I always watch ELF, and NATIONAL LAMPOON. They’re my top favorite Christmas movies. I’m working on a holiday movie guide going up on December 4 so keep an eye out for that 🙂
I’m also really excited to take Emmy to get her picture taken with Santa 🎅🏼 The thing I am most excited for is Emmy’s smash cake photo shoot! Also planning on going to the Christmas party at my work.
What are some of your holiday plans and traditions?
We are still working on making traditions. My son is very excited about the tree and keeps telling everyone it’s “our first Christmas tree!” He’s 3 and I guess it’s the first one he remembers 😂

I’m a huge sucker for those cheesy movies as well! I didn’t watch A Christmas Prince last year either but am looking forward to it this Christmas – especially with the sequel coming out! Looking forward to the rest of your posts! 😊🎄

I love the holidays too! I have Christmas music playing in the background as I blog and write this comment 😀 I plan to start watching all the cheesy christmas movies this year. Netflix seems to have a plethora of them!
Some traditions I have with my kids:
New ornament
Matching Christmas jammies
New Christmas book for each of them
Drive around to see Christmas lights
Elf on the Shelf
Community Holiday Party
Bake and decorate Christmas cookies.
We also decorate the house together and my husband puts up some awesome christmas lights on the house every year. I really hope we have snow this year on Christmas 😀

Those are some amazing traditions. I would love to get an Elf in the Shelf but my son says he hates it. Haha oh well. I hope you have a wonderful holiday season 💖

Hi,
My daughter and I still hang up the Christmas angel on the tree. She is 16 but still loves it. Yes, Elf, Nightmare Before Christmas, etc. We open one gift on Christmas Eve. Fun stuff!
Have a Merry Christmas!
