Down the TBR Hole #1

Down the TBR Hole was originally created by Lost in a Story! The point of it is to Narrow down your Goodreads TBR shelf so your only left with books your excited to read.

How it works:
➽ Go to your Goodreads to-read shelf.
➽ Order on ascending date added.
➽ Take the first 5 (or 10 if you’re feeling adventurous) books
➽ Read the synopses of the books
➽ Decide: keep it or should it go?

The Six Books:

The Handmaids Tale – Margaret Atwood

I first bought this book when the TV Series was first announced. I had planned to read it before I watched the show. I still haven’t watched the show, and I’m still interested in reading the book. Keep ✔️

A Clash if Kings- George R R Martin

I have had this on my TBR since 2014 with every intention on reading it, but I made new releases a priority. Maybe once the final season of the show airs I will go back to the written works. Keep✔️

The Lost Hero – Rick Riordan

This one I’m really on the fence about because I do own the whole series. I started an audiobook copy last year and I DNF’d the book. So what do you guys think should I give this book another chance? Delete✖️

The Name of the Wind- Patrick Rothfuss

I’m still very very interested in reading this book. I’m hoping to get to it in the new year! I’ve recently got an audiobook copy, in 2019 this will happen. Keep ✔️

City of Fallen Angels – Cassandra Clare

Another series I’m an going to read and finish in 2019. I started a re read earlier last year and got stuck on this book. I’m determined to push through and finish. Keep✔️

Hollow City – Ransom Riggs

I’ve had this book on my shelf since it was released and I’ve never had the urge to pick it up. So I’m going to give this series to my son to read instead. Delete✖️

Is there any books that you loved that you think I should get to sooner than later.

  1. I will give it a try to the Lost Heroe saga… after all, you have all the books so why not give it a try with your own voice? the audiobooks tend to change what you think about a book and the characters XD
