October TBR

Hello bookworms! Happy October 🎃 It’s officially the best month of the year. I don’t normally do TBR’s but October is going to be such a crazy busy month I thought I’d try to plan a few of the books I want to read.I’m really excited to be doing a few buddy reads this month with some really cool ladies!

This month is also my son’s 12th birthday ! So there’s his party and a bunch of fun fall activities. Such as Monster Trot on October 13 to support mental health awareness, you get to wear a Halloween costume and basically go trick r treating at different booths, plus a BBQ.

Then on October 27 Is Boo at the Zoo, its amazing! The zoo gets decked out in Halloween decor and themed houses rated by how scary they are. Plus all the animals are still there.

I’m hoping to get to all of these this month, but I’m such a mood reader that I could change this all up within a week or two.

October 5 🎃
The Good Daughter – Karin Slaughter
Buddy read with Melanie.

The Wicked Deep- Shea Earnshaw
Reading it with my fiance.

Strange the Dreamer – Laini Taylor
I wasnt planning on reading this book this month, but my library hold came in 🙂

Pet Semetary- Stephen King
I’m currently on chapter 11, I’m listening to this one on audiobook.

Kingdom of Ash-Sarah J Mass
I feel like this book is on everyone’s TBR this month. I’s overwhelmed with the amount of feels I have for this series. I’m excited to see what happens and also terrified for my faves.

And I’m really hoping I can participate in #FridayFrightAThon

October 12th, 2018 🎃
The death of Mrs Westaway- Ruth Ware

This is an ambitious TBR for me but I read 10 books in September and I’m hoping the momentum keeps up this month. What are you planning on reading this October?

  1. Some nice books on this list to be sure. I haven’t gotten around to reading Karin Slaughter’s novel yet, but I did buy it. So far pretty much all of her books have been amazing, so I am looking forward to it 😊😊
