I don’t do a lot of tags but sometimes I see one and I just have to do it. This one is the Halloween in July tag . I just had to do it!!. There is Christmas in July but Halloween in July is so much better. Stores start to put out autumn decor and starts all the hype for the Halloween season. It warms my heart.

1. What book gave you the creeps?
Coraline- Neil Gaiman is super creepy, imagine having an alternate reality where everyone you know has to sow buttons on for eyes! I love this book so much.
2. What book gives you the best Halloween vibes?
The Haunted Mask-RL Stein I read it every October, haha it’s so much fun.
Strange Grace by Tessa Gratton I’m currently reading this book and its giving me major autumn vibes. It’s main setting is the forest and the writing is hauntingly beautiful and atmospheric.
3. What’s your favorite vampire book?
Salems lot- Stephen King
I loved the vampires in this book, old school creepy vampires. I’ve read a lot of vampire books back when I was in high school many years ago . This one had a little bit of everything. Salem’s Lot is a small town in Maine, and it is not a stranger to secrets . King is excellent with the plotting and the pacing. This is one of my all time favorite King books.
4. What book scared you so much you had to sleep with the light on?
I don’t get scared easily and I cannot think of a book that has scared me.
5. What’s your favorite book about witches/goblins/ghosts/demons? (one of each for me!)
Witches- The Wicked Deep-Shea Earnshaw I haven’t read this one yet but I really want to read it this September. I’ve heard so many good things about this book. I’m a sucker for anything witchy highly anticipating getting to this book.
6. What book do you wish was scarier than it was?
Heart shaped box- Joe Hill I read about 60% of this book and I sadly had to DNF it because I found it to be so boring ! I was really disappointed, because I have heard so many people so many people rave about his books that I was expecting a lot more.
7. What’s your favorite book that takes place in October?
I’m going to be really basic and say Harry Potter and the Philosophers stone
