Collects issues 1-5 featuring the first story line “Escape from Riverdale” from the new ongoing TEEN+ comic book horror series Afterlife with Archie.

I’ve not read any new ARCHIE stuff in years,I remember going to my grandparents house and reading my Dad’s old copies of Archie as a young child, but I haven’t read any beyond that. I found this volume in a shop last winter and have been saving it for the Fall.

I enjoyed the story, no it wasn’t something to be blown away by but I enjoyed it. Seeing the characters face the zombies as they tried to escape the town. It was a lot of fun. Francesco Francavilla’s artwork was amazing ; the pages are filled with shades of orange and purple giving it the perfect Halloween vibe.

Volume Two will be available March 20 2018 and I can’t wait to get my hands on it.
