I honestly thought it would be just a light-hearted contemporary romance, but it’s SO much more. I guessed at a few of things that happened and that effected how much I enjoyed it.

This was sooo good. The action, the gore, the characters all made this really exciting and entertaining. The Hunt for Harley Quinn Parts 1 and 2 were the highlight for me. That chick is crazy and I love her.

This book is free on kindle unlimited.
Looking for a good, classic, haunted house story? Then this is your book. I loved this little ghost story. It was a super quick read and it’s really creepy. Elle needs to get away from things for a bit. She grabs the opportunity to house sit for a month at the Gillespie’s house. It’s more of an estate with the large forests and somewhat neglected mansion. This book had caught my attention because Gillespie is my last name and it’s uncommon to see it.

291061788.My Best Friend’s Exorcism by Grady Hendrix, 4 Stars
The story follows Abby and Gretchen, two best friends. Then, along with two of their other friends, they party a little too hard and things get out of hand, and that is when things change. I loved this book. The setting was fantastic and the mentions of 80’s music, film and culture was a lot of fun. When the signs of possession happen, they happen with a bang. This is a book about the power of female friendships, and there’s a lot of those I’ve read so far this year that explore both the darkness and the light of what teenage girls can do to one another. That one scene with Good Dog Max was the absolute worst:( It is a very different coming-of-age epic that will appeal to young adult and older adults alike.

This was an amazing follow up to Paper Princess and I loved it!I love the way the authors develop each and every character throughout these books. My favorite by far is still Easton. There is something about him I just adore. I love his relationship with Ella and how he cares for her so much, in a brotherly sort of way. What else can I say about these books? They are by far the most addictive books I have read in a long time. Prepare for a cliffhanger that will ruin you! That end! I’m gonna lose my mind…

This was my favorite book when I was 10, its a lot different reading it now. Not as scary , but still enjoyable 🙂 Shivers is sorta like goosebumps, but different. It doesn’t matter what order you read them in because there all different stories. I love this one because there so much fall vibes, the orchard the creepiness.

2581673011.Where They Found Her by Kimberly McCreigh, 4 Stars
I was hooked right away! Wow is this the page turner! Loved it .The story is told from multiple viewpoints, Molly a newspaper reporter, Barbra a mother married to the chief of police and Sandy a teenager from the wrong side of the tracks. The characters have depth, and who feel real. I have no hesitation in recommending Where They Found Her very highly.

  1. Great wrap-up! I’ve also quite recently finished Broken Prince and while I prefer Paper Princess, it’s definitely a very addictive book. SUCH a guilty pleasure for me… and my favourite character is Easton too. I’m kind of hoping he’ll get his own series because I’m totally throwing my money on that. 😀

  2. Lots of books read this month: school is going to keep you busy!! I already had my first day, and I have a quiz, a couple of readings, and a short paper to write all by tomorrow!! Ick.
But I’m getting in some reading first: it’s only fair, right? 😉

  4. I’m so scared to read The Cursed Child. I’m still not sure if I want to. But This Savage Song sounds like such a great book, though!

Good luck with school! I’m going back as well, and a part of me wants to, while the other just want to hole up in a closet and read.
